My name is janice Scrivens, My Husbands family came from Nz in the 1950's. His father's name was Alfred James and his wife was Joan they Lived in Helensville and owned a fishing boat. After tracing his family history found he had 2 sisters that were never mentioned Evelyn May and Fanny. Their parents names were alfred (from Kent) and Amelia (from Scotland) Found Fanny married a walter Madden in nz and there is a Evelyn Mary that married a Wilks (not sure on this one). Alfred James was in the American Navy and the Australian Merchant Navy but cannot find any information anywhere. Does anyone Know anything about this family info would be greatly appreciated as trying to do family tree.
