Ooh Bonnie, that is interesting Edward and Edith both having the same surname! I will follow that up with the links you have given me also.

I do have a photo of a headstone from an Auckland cemetery of a Samuel Teggin and a Mary Ann Teggin. I think from memory Samuel died in Dec. 1900 and Mary Ann died in Jan 1901. I thought they were my grandfathers parents, but on a count back they aren't, so now I need to find out if Samuel was my great grandfathers brother?
