Hi I am interested in learning anything at all about the following family: GEORGE JAMES BROWN Was he born in Victoria, Austalia around 1858? Died: About 1943 in NZ I believe GEORGINA HARRIET DRIVER (some records seem to spell her last name as DRISER) Believe she was born around 1859 in London, England? Can anyone confirm or deny this? Died: About 1940 in NZ I believe Does anyone know when/where George and Georgina got married? I believe they got married around 1877 in NZ somewhere. But not entirely sure about this. I assume all there children were born in New Zealand, and possibly all at Kowai Bush in Canterbury? But can not yet confirm this... Together George and Georgina had the following children: CHILD ONE: Georgina Viva BROWN - Born: 20 March 1878 in Kowai Bush, Canterbury, New Zealand - Died: 14 April 1958 in New Zealand somewhere. There first one was named Rosa Florence Georgina Burke. She was born in New Zealand in 1906 and died in New Zealand in 1999. She appears to have never married or had any children of her own. Janet and Charles appeared to also have had a child named Eric BURKE in 1913; a Ronald BURKE in 1914 and a Stanley BURKE in 1922. Assume they were all born in New Zealand somewhere.
