Hi Dianne,
I cannot tell you much more about the George Brighouse who died 1929 except that the Burial record indicated that he was 18y not 21y as shown on the Death Index. You can obtain a Copy of his Death Cert from this website:-

I believe the Thomas who arrived 1902 ws your Thomas - Thomas Roby Brighouse b.1833 and died 1896 !!!
