Hi Dianne - you can obtain a Copy of the Death Cert for George Brighouse by going to:-
http://bdmhistoricalrecords.identityservices.govt.nz/search
That will tell you who his Parents were and what he died of.

I believe the Thomas Brighouse who arrived 1902 aged
22 yrs. was your man. ( Thomas Roby Brighouse b.1833 d.1896 - can't be him !! )

Don't know when Fati married Thomas but she was born 1897. I presumed that Mona was short for Ramona and therefore could be your Mona b.1914 - this one apparently died 11 Oct.1996 and married William Kalmar - according to the IGI record.
