You might find some answers by ordering George Brighouse's death certificate, Reg No. 1929/10390. Although his death registration says he was 21, his burial record, at Helensville Cemetery in Auckland (Helensville, Rodney District) says he was 18. Father and mother (with maiden name) are normally on death certificates. You might contact the cemetery and see if they have any other information.
