Alfred August departed from London 08 February 1894 aboard the Ruapehu for Wellington. Mrs J (Julia) August followed on board the Kaikoura 18 October 1894. She was accompanied by her nephew Mr G (George) Thynne. On 12 October 1899 aboard the Rakaia there were 3 Miss Thynne B + M + R. Possibly Barbara Mary G and Rose/Ruth but not sure. Very grateful for any help on where those two families lived. Thank you, David August
