I'm hoping someone can put me in touch with the descendants of ANDREW MCKEAN PATTERSON and CLARA ROSE HONFELDT who were married on the 23rd October 1884 at 15 Cresswell Terrace, Dumfries. They raised a family of 5 boys and 2 girls as at the Census of 1901, and one of the boys, ALEXANDER MCMURRAY PATTERSON, emigrated to NZ ( possibly to the Auckland area ).In 2000 a subsequent family member, ALASTAIR, posted some info on the rootsweb pages of ancestry.com but I have been unable to contact him direct. The reason for my interest is that I believe that Clara Honfeldt is my GGMother as before marrying into the Patterson family, she gave birth to a son in 1880. I understand that this may be a sensitive issue but any help would be greatly appreciated.
