The 1850 census of Baltimore (8th ward) shows Jonas Nonemaker, grocer, wife Elizabeth, and daughters Henrietta and Mary.
The 1862 atlas of Carroll County, MD shows J. R. Nonemaker in the New Windsor district.
An 1872 orphans court docket in York County, Pennsylvania indicates that Jonas, son of Daniel (deceased) was living at that time in Hanford County, Maryland.

Jonas R. Nonemaker was the son of
Daniel Nonemaker (abt 1794 – 25 Apr 1872) and Susanna (15 Jun 1794 – 30 Mar 1869)
Daniel was the son of
John Jacob Nonemaker (18 Jan 1768 – 24 Feb 1852) and Anna Mary Miller (22 Mar 1768 – 23 Dec 1849).
John Jacob was the son of
Johann Solomon Nunnemacher (27 Apr 1738 – 13 Aug 1810) and Anna Maria (22 Mar 1741 – 22 Dec 1813).
Johann Solomon was the son of
Johann Emerich Nunnemacher (abt 1696 – Nov 1776) and Barbara Gosler. Emerich immigrated 29 Sep 1741.
Johann Emerich was the son of
Nicklaus Nunnemacher (abt 1644 – 4 Sep 1726) of Weyer, Alsace, Germany (now France).
