The next reunion of the Normand Association should be held on the weekend of the third week of October 2000. Details of the reunion should be available in September 2000.
With respect to information we could exchange, we can talk about this at the reunion if you come. I am still wondering where some information was obtained about the antecedents of Gervais that I read in some messages posted to this site. A report by the Archivist of the Québec Government written in 1935 stated that François Normand and Jeanne Boisselle of Igé had at least three sons, Gervais, Jean and Pierre. The first two emigrated to Canada on or before 1649. The third Pierre did not come bout his son Pierre Normand dit la Brière came around 1664. I have no other earlier info on the Normand family.
