Aimé
Thank you for your information. I have little data about Gervais' past in France. I am trying to piece together what I read so far in the messages that are on this site. In the act covering the marriage of Pierre Normand dit La Brière in Québec on the 7th September 1665, it says that Pierre Normand dit La Brière is the son of Pierre Normand and Marie Guilmain of the St-Martin parish in Belleme. The act also mentions the names of Gervais Normand and Jean Normand and refers to them as uncles of the groom. By the way this marriage was the last time Gervais was mentioned in the acts or written references that can be found. He is not mentioned in the act covering the death of his brother Jean in April 1666 nor in the 1666-1667 census. This is the only information on Gervais and Jean that I have at the present but I am keeping my eyes opened for any other information that I may find on the Web or in other places.

Paul-Eugène
