No, as far as I know there is only one Rosalie in that family and you are right she was the daughter of Jean-Baptiste Normand and Rosalie Bernatchez or Berneche as it is frequently stated i.e. daughter of the second marriage of Jean-Baptiste Normand. I must have had too much Ginger Ale that night when I attributed that Rosalie to the first marriage of Jean-Baptiste. I plan on sending more information to Joy once I have finished my present research. I will also be able to give Joy some info on the Normand book which is available through the Normand Association of Québec City. Thank you Diane for your rectification and I stand red face. By the way I am doing some research on the Normand dit Jolicoeur family which is not related to me in any way but I am looking at the moment for the marriage of Joseph Normand and Philomène Viliot which probably took place around 1865. Where I don't know? It is not listed anywhere that I could search in Québec. It might have been celebrated in Ontario or in the US. I would be grateful if you could let me know whether you have this information. Thank you.
