I am a descendent of the Normand's from Avoyelles Parish, but am not familiar with those names. My mother is the youngest of 9 children born to Clitus J. and Clara Chatelain Normand. My mother was born near Mansura in 1922. Her Grandparents were Clette Normand and Cecelia Moreau m. 18 Dec 1866 in Avoyelles Parish. Clette's parents were Prudent Normand and Eloise Omige Riche. Do you recognise any of these names? If so, let me know and I can help you with names back to the 1500s Liz
