I am investigating the family of Oliver Gooding Norton who married in Tasmania, Australia, stating that his parents were George William Norton, Civil Rngineer and Camilla and that he was born Kollstrup, Schleswig Holstein.
The IGI has his baptism in 1867 and that of his sister Emma Luise in 1868 at Aabenraa, Aabenraa-Sonderborg, Denmark, parents shown as George William Norton and Camilla Koch/Kock.
Does anyone have any connections to or knowledge of George William and his origins ?
