At Ancestry I found only one Peter Norton who served in 1812 in Ohio....maybe this is your Peter?

This information is from the files at NARA so you would have to contact them to retrieve the actual file. If you Google Darrow's Batallion there is some history about it.
Do you know why Elethina's gravestone says she d Nov 24 1811 age 73 years? A little odd - she would be way older than Peter then :) The actual date at findagrave is 04 Nov 1844 tho.
