Valda Norton d 02 Sep 1965 - Ida Co Pioneer Record news at Ida Co Genweb. I found a picture of her too.
You can write to Soc Sec & request a copy of Edgar's original application which probably has where he was born & the names of his parents. Maybe you can find obituaries in the Ida Co Pioneer/Ida Co Pioneer Record, hopefully with some children.

Edgar, son of Clair/Clare is age 2 in 1900 Hinsdale, Cattaraugus NY. He is still there in the census & by 1930 is living there with a wife, Georgia. From SSDI he was b 10 Apr 1898 & d Jul 1978 in Hinsdale....it looks like he spent his whole life in Hinsdale.
I am curious why Carrie & some of her daughters appear in two different locations in 1930....would you have an idea what the story might be ?
