Johan Marensius Tobiasen
and Tobias Rasmusen both are using the patronymic naming system.
Tobiasen = son of Tobias
therefore Tobias' father was Rasmus.

Where did this record you have come from? It appears to be a confirmation record = was it from Kragerø?

I used a combination of http://pilot.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html and the Norwegian archives:

His baptism is shown here:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5969&idx_id=5969&uid=ny&idx_side=-239
Born "17th April", baptised 6th May.
Illegitimate son of Maren Johanne Pedersdatter, b. 1850, and unmarried bagersvend (bakers apprentice), Tobias Rasmussen, b. 1849 (from Kristiansund?).

There is a mention of the Drews family also (one of the sponsors is from this family, I think it says that Maren worked for them)
http://www.rhd.uit.no/folketellinger/ftliste_e.aspx?ft=1875&knr=0801&kenr=007&bnr=0002&lnr=00
- census shows that Karl Theodor Drews was a master baker. (Tobias worked for him also maybe?)

It appears that there was another child the previous year with father listed as Tobias:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=5969&idx_id=5969&idx_listetype=dp&idx_kjonn=&uid=ny&idx_side=-231
(Anna Nicoline, second record down).

And then I think he can be traced to Porsgrunn in 1880:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=4263&idx_id=4263&idx_listetype=dp&idx_kjonn=&uid=ny&idx_side=-25
(again, occupation is Bagersvend)

He was married to this third woman, Amalie. They moved to Aust-Agder and had more children, e.g.:
http://www.arkivverket.no/URN:kb_read?idx_kildeid=6138&idx_id=6138&uid=ny&idx_side=-57

I think to help trace Maren it would help a lot to have more information about where you found the confirmation record. It does not seem to be from Kragero as far as I can tell.
