Thank you for the reply --really helps clear things up! i was told by another American that in Norway, the family had to pay a yearly fee for the parcel of land inwhich a person was buried, and if no one was able to pay that fee then the stones were removed and cast to the side of the cmetery. which I thought was pretty odd?! I did not know that in Norway bodies were not embalmed either. That really help in my search ! Thank you !!
