EDMUND PATTEN -- This gentleman, a member of the California Assembly in 1861, from the county of Yolo, and almost ever since a resident of Gold Hill (Nev.), where he has accumulated large mining interests, died on Saturday evening of typhoid fever contracted in San Francisco, some weeks since. He leaves a wife and, we believe, 4 children. [Sacramento 'Bee']
