Mary E. Wood 85 died at 12:15 AM. Saturday May 24 , 1947 at her home 1316 Macedonia Ave. After an illness of
3 months. Born in Cass County, Kentucky. The widow of Headley Wood who died in 1934.
Surviving are three daughters Mrs. Allie Runkle, Mrs. Louesa Hutsell, both of Muncie , Indiana. Mrs. Hallie
Leyland of Farmland , Indiana. Sons Jess and Oatley Wood of Jackson, Mi. 23 Grandchildren, Two brothers,
Rudolph and Alpheus O'Banion of Kentucky, and 3 sisters, Mrs. Artie Wilheite, Mrs. Ida Steiger of Kentucky, and
Mrs. Naomi Whitton of Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM. Tuesday at the industry Evangelical
United Brethren Church. The Reverend Headley Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends
may call at Meeks Mortuary after Noon monday.
