In an audit (1769) of the estate of Edward Doyle, died Southampton Co.VA in 1762' there is a legacy paid to John Oberry. Hardy Doyle, Executor WB 2, p 288.

I found a John Oberry, born about 1745 in Southampton Co on Family Search.

Do you have any Doyal/Doyle/Dial ( and many other variations of spelling) connections to your Oberry family? Doyles were there by 1719, when a will was entered for Samuel Doyle, IOW CO. Thanks, JPark
