My great grandfather was James Franklin Oberry, born 1863 in Ware Co., GA, died 1942 in Miami, FL. I have scoured the internet trying to find out who his parents were, but to no avail. I have eliminated many possibilites, and am left a few possibles: John R Oberry (b. 1839)(possible, but not likely); Barry Oberry (b. 1833) (possible, not likely); Joseph Oberry (b. 1841)(possible, not likely); Thomas H. Oberry (b. 1843, d. 1939); James M. Oberry (b. 1843)(possible, not likely); Wilson C. Oberry (b. 1819). James Franklin was a cattle rancher in Kissimmee in the early 1900s, but lost his land during the Great Depression. His son, Martin Luther, was my grandfather. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.
