I am currently looking for any information on an O'Brien family that lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the Fishtown / Kensington area around the late 1800's early 1900's. I am fairly certain that some of their descendants must still be in nearby. Here is the info I have gathered on my own:

Michael O'Brien born around 1835 in Ireland, moved to Philadelphia around 1859. He worked as a Weaver or Loom Boss. His wife:

Jane O'Brien (married name) born in Scotland (?) around 1836 moved to Philadelphia around 1859 (not sure if with Michael or not)

Their children:

William J. O'Brien was born in England around 1857. Worked as a Weaver / loom fixer at a carpet mill.

Thomas O'Brien was born in Philadelphia, PA around 1861. Married to Mary with children: Frank, Mary, Sadie, Lily, Regina and Sarah.

Mary O'Brien was born in Philadelphia, PA around 1866. Married Joseph F. Sullivan with children: Harry, Joseph F. Jr., and Annie.

Jane O'Brien was born in Philadelphia, PA around 1867.

Michael Joseph O'Brien Jr. (my Great Great Grandfather) was born in Philadelphia, PA on 28 Apr 1869. Married to Cecilia Koesslinger with child: Margaret.

Robert E. O'Brien was born in Philadelphia, PA around 1874. Married to Kate Beuerle (?) with children: Robert, Anna and Jennifer.

Any descendants out there?

Some questions I am hoping to answer are:

What part of Ireland did Michael O'Brien Sr. came from?
What were his parents' names?
What was Jane O'Brien's maiden name?
What part of Scotland was she born?
What happened to my Great Great Grandfather Michael O'Brien Jr. after 1910?

but of course ANY information would be greatly greatly appreciated!!
