I haven't been looking very hard for Tim's parents, just Tim. But this is what little I did find when I looked.

1810 NY census records: There are 7 John OBryon/OBrien/OBryan's living there. There are a few who have close to the same number of children but not exactly. The supposed daughters says in 1880 that her father was born in New York. There is no John OBryon living in Mason in 1810.

1820 Mason County, VA census
In the home of John OBryon, there are 2 males under 10, 1 male bet. 16-18 yrs of age, 2 males bet.
18-26 yrs of age, 1 male age 45 and over. There is one female under 10, and 2 females bet. 16-18 yrs of age. There are 3 persons involved in agriculture. (Mason seems an odd place to look but the location tied in with my O'Brien lines.)

Timothy would have been around 32 yrs of age in the 1840 Kanawha Co., (W) VA census. He is listed as 42 in the 1850 Kanawha Co. census. He is found next in the 1860 & 1870 Roane County, WV census records being 53 and 62 yrs of age. In the 1880 Roane Co., WV census, he is 70 yrs old, his father was born in Ireland and his mother in VA. Timothy's believed to be sister is shown in 1880 with her father being born in NY and her mother in VA. So he would have been born around 1808. His supposed sister would have been born around 1801-1805. Does any of this fit in with what you have?
Thanks! If you would prefer to write off-line that is fine, just send to my e-mail address.
