DANIEL BRYCE O'BRIEN, aged 61 years, of Wassaic NY and Aiken SC, died peacefully on June 18, 2007. Danny graduated from Malvern Preparatory School in 1964 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Georgetown University in 1968. In addition to being a great family man, Danny was truly a man of many talents. From his work for the Saudi Government in Washington,D.C. in the 1970's, to his successful real estate business in New York City in the 1980's, to the founding of three restaurants in the 1990's. Dan's fervor and enthusiasm drove his many successes. Danny's sense of commitment for business carried over to his passion for giving back to his community. He was deeply devoted to multiple charities and non-profit organizations includ-ing Union Settlement, Scenic Hudson, Shakespeare on the Hudson and his family's Troutwalk Fund. Danny is survived by his wife of 38 years, Wendy; 2 sons, Bryce and Topher; 2 daughters, Timoney Dunlap and Caroleana; and 5 "of the best" grand-children, Findely and Bryce III, and Bela, Trent and Austin Dunlap. A private Memorial Service will be held at 4 P.M., Thursday, June 21, at Troutwalk Farm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made in Danny's name to Scenic Hudson, www.Scenic Hudson.org; Union Settlement Assoc. www.UnionSettlemt.org and Part of the Solution, www.POTSBronx.org.
