I recently came across an old photo of a marriage in Mahanoy City, PA in the 1920's and a newspaper cutting of the death of a Mrs Matthew O'Brien PA who lived at 831 East Centre St Mahanoy City PA. She was a local matron and a member of the Sodality Rosary Society, died at the age of 53 while after becoming ill in Wilkes-Barre visiting family. Her nephews are Joseph Landmesser and Francis O'Brien. She is buried at St Canicus RC. She arrived in PA with an aunt and uncle from Newcastle England as an infant. All this info was found in my deceased aunt's papers and I wonder if perhaps we are related. My aunt was Sarah Anne Wren nee Gilfillan.
