Still searching to no avail for family before G.Grands. Need some info from about 1890-ish Iosco Cty, MI., to make the link. I know of 6 kids for sure.. Edward, John, Mary E., Katie(Kathryn), Margaret, and Cecelia. The others are William, James, Dennis, and Joseph. These fit the 1900 census of living children, even with a difference in name spelling.. O'BriAN. Have a postcard to J.P. O'Brien, Saltese, Mont.. dated 9-20-09 from Margaret O'Brien, Alabaster, Mich. I believe that the G.G. grandmothers name was Mary and husband was James, (?).. G.Grnd. father John was born in NY 1852.. wife Elizabeth Kinney, was born in Can. same year.
