We are trying to track down descendants or relatives of Andrew Patrick O'Brien, born 4 Dec 1882 in County Carlow, Ireland.

His father was also called Andrew O'Brien, and he had a sister called Maggie who was a nun. Nothing else is known of his family.

Andrew married Amelia Wilkinson on 11 November 1911 (Chelsea, County of London). They had two sons, George Ralph (b. 1912) and John Percy (B. 1913), as well as a daughter Patricia Kathleen (b.1919).

Somewhere in 1922 he went missing, presumed dead, but may have emigrated and remarried.

No death records for Andrew have been found within 10 years of the reported date of death. Any information or leads would be welcomed.

Amelia emigrated to Melbourne, Australia in the mid- 1920's at her brother's invitation and remarried to Albert Kosack (no children).

George, John and Kathleen all have descendents in Australia. Several of us are in touch and contact from other relatives is welcome.
