I am trying to find any info about James O'brien born around 1900 in Cork Ireland. He had an older brother William who lived in Scotland. He came to England and married my grandmother Maud Rayment in 1918 in Mottingham Kent and they had my mother Vera. He was possibly a sailor but went missing after 1922 and no trace was found at that time. It was thought he caught a ship in Liverpool to America on his own as my grandmother would not go with him. Unfortunately knowing so little about him I am unable to trace the Irish side of my family tree.
