Hello.. Good to hear from you. From all that I have been able to gather, Duncan was brother to Wilson. Duncan was born in 1785/6 and would have been 15 or 16 when Wilson was born. I don''t have all the information on Duncan's children, but earliest birth I have for one of his children is 1812. A bit of information I found on census: 1850 Arkansas census lists his place of birth as Ga. The 1870 census gives his age as 80 which would have made him born in 1790, and his birthplace as SC. But then on headstone: O'Bryant Wilson 31 Dec 1801 - 1870 Sacred be the memory of Wilson O'Bryant.
My line is as follows. Martha Ann O'Bryant b Aug 1830 in Ill. and died aft 1900 in Saline Co., Arkansas. She married Samuel W. James in 1846 in Saline Co, Ar. He was b 1827 in Saline co and died bef 1867 in Saline co. They had son George Wilson b 3 Aug 1847 in Saline Co. and died 1 Apr 1911 in Owensville, Saline, Ar. He married Ellender Jerusha Addy in 1866/7 in Saline Co. Ar Ellender was br 1847 in Saline Co, and died in ? in Owensville, Saline Co. They had son William Hughes James b 9 Sep 1873 in Saline Co. and died 29 Feb 1944 in Owensville. He married Feb 1895 in Garland Co, Sophia Catherine Davis b 16 Jan 1877 in Baxter Co, Ar and died 27 Mar 1949 in Benton, Saline, Ar. Their son, my father, was Dudge John James b 8 May 1912 in Owensville, and died 24 Aprl 1984 in Pasadena, Calif.
