I'm trying to piece together my grandmother's O'Bryant family lineage. Jesse W. O'Bryant was her uncle. I find him in St Joseph MO (Buchanan Co)in 1910 listed as a clergyman with wife,Florence and daughter,Reta. By 1920, he is listed in Tarrant Co TX listed as a conductor-pullman with wife Ida F.
and daughter Reta. Then by 1930, he is in Smith Co, TX. Wife is now Ethel. No daughter listed. but has a father in law, John T. Magers living with him.
Reta would have been 24 in 1930 census, so she probably got married and is listed with her husband. Currently, I do not know Reta's married name.
Jesse's father was Samuel N. O'Bryant and mother was Sarah M.(her maiden name is unknown). Most of his sibling were born in Panola Co MS. They would later move to Crawford Co AR by 1880.
I'm trying to find out when and where he died. If any one recognizes this family let me know.
