I am not sure if we connect but I will try to tell you what I know. Patrick was in Buckingham Co, Va in 1747 as he was granted land. Matthias, who I believe was his brother, was listed as a Virginia Tithable with Patrick in 1773. Family info passed down states that Matthias moved around Bedford Co, Virginia to raise his family. As far as I know, no one has researched his line. I believe they had a sister with them named Mary who married John Chastain abt 1765 in Buckingham and moved to Pickens Co, SC. My Patrick married Juda Adcock and had 4 sons in Buckingham named Patrick, Jr,who married Rebecca Clark abt 1793, Mark who married Sarah Pleasant in 1789,William who married Mary Anne Puckett in 1791 and Glen.

Family info passed down says that Patrick and Matthias camed directly from Ireland but I wonder if they came to Virginia from the O'Briens in Maryland but I cannot find the connection. I would like to hear from you and you are welcome to email me directly at fhhill@yahoo.com is you wish. Thank you. Fran Harris Hill, Richmond, VA
