I was told by my uncle that a Michael O'Connell came through upstate NY, into Ontario Canada, to settle in Madoc, Ontario in or around 1850. He was from? Co. Kerry and a relation to Daniel the Liberator. How I do not know.He had issues, one being Hugh O'Connell who begat John J. O'Connell (b 1908), who begat Brian, Terry, Mike, and Maurice, Kevin and Sean. Brian was born in 1938, and is my father. I was born in 1965.
I am trying to find out more about who begat Michael in the first place. I visited Caherdaniel in April 2008, met Freddie O'Connell at his pub. It is very apparent that we share the same gene pool as he is the spitting image of two of my uncles. Can anyone help me. Email me at marko@ripnet.com
