Michael Morris/Maurice O’Connell. Born 1862, Xenia, Ohio? Died 1943 Mass. Son of John O’Connell and Mary Burke. Your post has many similarities to stories my father told about his father Michael. To this date I have not been able to go further than his parent’s names. He was a career navy man who married Jane Greany at age 49 (1911) in Mass. Moved to California in 1924. Family stories tell of him having 6 sisters. I know this is a long shot but too good to pass by. Thank you for your post.
