My g-grandmother, Bridget O'Day, married Robert Shortis(s)from Scotland, c1855-60. She (or they) immigrated to Quebec Canada prior to 1867. Three, maybe four children, Margaret Hortess (Julien)b around 1860, Mary (my grandmother, b 1867, Quebec city, Christine, b after 1867 and perhaps James (b?). Any information would be appreciated.
