Do you know if any of them emigrated to MA? or if any of them may have relocated to Co Cork in Ireland.? I have a lot of O'Donnell's from Co Donegal, but as best I can tell mostly around Carndonagh(Inishowen Pennisula) James O'Donnell m Susan Doherty . They were both born(I think) in the 1840's. May have married in Carndonagh May 1866. Their children all born in Carndonagh/Glenmakee were: Patrick (1867) John (1868) Neal(1871) Mary Ann (July 1873 later my grandmother-married Patrick Bradley (May 1864-Carndongah) on April 17 1902 at St Peters in Dorchest(Boston) Ma. Had 6 children, my mom was their 3rd. Margaret(maggie--1875) Denis (1878) Philip(1880 Most if not all emigrated to Ma(Boston) Also In Co Cork I have a John O'Donnell m to Elizabeth Carney and they had 3 sons John F, Peter, and Patrick. John F m Bridget Dohert(from Co Cork-d of Neil Doherty and Mary(somebody_)Bridget and John F immgrated in April 1881(had married in Carndonagh Co Donegal Jan 1881). Had 9 children all born in Ma, and those children were my grandmother and her siblings cousins. I'd love to learn more about all my O'Donnell's. I haven't been able to get anywhere with James O'Donnell or Susan(determining who their parents or siblings may have been etc) O'Donnell and so many Irish names are so common, its driving me a bit nutty, trying to seperate whose who sometimes. Do you have other Irish family(surnames) your searching? Mine are: ODonnell, Bradley,Doherty,McLaughlin, Daley, Conley, Lynch, Sweeney, O'Connor, etc Notify Administrator about this message?
