origin of the name Diver

Hi

I have just started researching my family history and have just read online my family name Diver is actually an anglicised form of the name O'Dubhiir (as is Dever, Dwyer and O'Dwyer). Can any one confirm that this is correct?
I quote this piece of text
"Dwyer is the Southern Irish pronuciation of Duibhir. In North Donegal the name Duibhir is extremely common but when translated into English is written with the Donegal Gaelic pronunciation "Diver" like River"

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks
Danielle Diver
