I know of a James McCosh of Ochiltree Parish. Born 1780, died 1848. In the 1841 parish census James lived in Drumjoan and had 6 children. His occupation was listed as Ag.Labourer.

My mother is a McCosh and has a great deal of McCosh geneological info. My great-grandfather was Benjamin Walker McCosh, born 1842 in Adams Co. PA.
