Rites for Mes. Gertrude West, 70, of 1120 NW 99, who died at her home Thrusday morning, will be at 4 p.m. Saturday in Britton Nazarene church. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens under direction of Sherman funeral home.

Former State Woman Dies
City Rites Set

Services for Mrs. Earnestine Mitchell, 39, Mesa, Ariz., who died in a local hospital Thursday morning, will be held at 11:15 a. m. Friday in the Hahn funeral home.
Mrs. Mitchell, who formerly lived in Oklahoma City, Davis and Clinton was an active member of the Methodist church in these towns, also at Mesa. She was born in Birmingham, Ala., Nov. 11, 1905.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold P. Mitchell of Mesa; a daughter, Mrs. Larry Darden, Key West, Fla., and Mrs. George Mapes, Birmingham, Ala. A sister-in-law, Mrs. Gertrude West lives at 2755 NW 21.
Burial will be Friday afternoon at ______________.

Raymond T. Wests
Announce Birth
MR. AND MRS. RAYMOND T. WEST. Deridder, La., Formerly of Oklahoma City, announcement the birth of their second child, a daughter, September 14. The name Linda Collier has been selected.
Mrs. West is the former Miss Sally Collier, and both she and her husband attended teh University of Oklahoman, Norman.

Visit Mrs. G. M. West
Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee Brown and Roy Lee Brown Jr., all of Birmingham, Ala., have been the houseguests of Mrs. Brown's mother, Mrs. G. M. West, 2766 NW 21. Mrs. Brown is the former Miss Elizabeth West.
The visitors were also guests of Mr. Brown's mother, Mrs. R. L. Brown, Calumet, and Mrs. Brown's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond T. West, Hobart.

There is a wedding announcement for Elizabeth West (to Roy Lee Brown), daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. West from Jan 1, 1940. It's rather lengthy and does include a photo of Elizabeth. I can either send a scan to your email or send it by snail mail if you are interested.
