Thankyou for the assistance,
I did search www.familysearch.org prior to this and had found a birth for the same James Henry Ovens with the same day and month of birth but the year was 1868 and place was Carslruhe, Vic, the same with the death, correct day and month but a year later 1962. In saying this familysearch also had a listing with the same details as yourve supplied.
The marriage to Susan was in Menzies but indexed as 1900, I did find a marriage to a Matilda Ashworth 1911, York, WA. Apparently with 2 children to this marriage. So James and Susan must have divorced. I am wondering if James and Susan had any issue ??
