Yes, you are right. James married Susan abt 1900 and then Matilda abt 1910.

James Henry Ovens, son of George Thomas Ovens Sr. and Elizabeth Wall, was born Kyneton, Victoria 8 DEC 1869. [Vic Birth No 3078 KYNETON 1869].

James' parents lived at Piper's Creek, a locality in Parish of Carlsruhe, District of Kyneton. So it is likely that he and his siblings were all born there.

Piper's Creek is situated north of Carlsruhe and due east of Kyneton. It is a farming district of gentle rolling hills.

The Families OVENS, WALL, LIMBRICK, GODDARD all lived in this area and were emigrants from Rangeworthy/Iron Acton, Gloucestershire, England

James died 5 MAR 1961 in York, West Australia, at 91 years of age.

He married twice. He married Susan Elizabeth Saunders in Menzies, Western Australia, 1900. Susan was born abt 1880. Susan was divorced from James Henry Ovens in West Australia, 1910. He married Matilta Anne Ashworth in York, West Australia, 1911. Matilta was born in West Australia 1888.

I have no issue for James and Susan, which is surprising. James and his 2nd wife had 10 children from 1913 to 1934. The four eldest (all born in York WA) are now deceased. The remaining six may still be living.
