I think we're 2nd cousins. My Grandfather's brother was Arnie. Gramps' parents were John Pabst and Maryanne Huff - Missouri - he had alot of brothers and sisters (I'd have to check with my dad) but I know there was John, Belle, Peggy, Arnie, Bert, Eugene (my grandpa) and Emery. Last I knew Uncle Emery was still in Arkansas.
If you are the person I'm thinking of, Uncle Arnie used to bring you over to my grandparent's house (south side of Chicago, close to Indiana)- I think you didn't live very close to him - and he called you 'Beannie'. Your grandparents are Danny and Jeannie - Danny is my dad's cousin. If my memory is correct, to say your GGrandpa cared about you is an understatement - he absolutely ADORED you! I understand how you feel as my grandparents passed away in 97 and 98 and not a day goes by that I don't think of them.
If this is correct (or at least part of it) let me know and I'll call up my dad to fill in some details. We have a cousin in Minnesota who is also interested in the family tree - Kathy.
What specific information do you want to try to find? Historical info or where are your relatives now or both?
