According to "Some Southern Colonial Families", v. 2, by David A. Avant Jr: Barnabus Pace (b. abt 1747, d. 3 Aug 1827) was a son of Richard Pace (b. abt 1700 VA, d. abt 1775 NC) and his wife Elizabeth Cain. He married (1) Agnes Aycock; sons Leroy, Thomas, Paris and Basil; three daughers. He married (2) Polly Casey; sons John, Noel, Dreadzil; daughters Mazy and Patsy; "John became a Methodist preacher, living in Baker Co..."
