Hi Roseanne, Thanks for your reply. I know of the Barnabas Pace letter but was hoping there might be something which could substantiate the part about Elizabeth Cain. So far, I believe, no one has been able to identify an Elizabeth Cain who might have been Richard Pace's wife. Doesn't mean she didn't exist, of course -- just that she hasn't been found in the records. Unfortunately it often happens that it's hard to track female ancestors, what with the change of surname. But perhaps something will surface someday. Again, thank you for your reply. James Notify Administrator about this message?
