Have just found a Pace-Bailey connection in
Albemarle Co Va on the 1930 census for Charlottesville
C P Bailey age 40 b.abt. 1890 Va
Lama K. Bailey age 31 b. abt. 1899 wife
Catherine L. Pace age 85 - Aunt b. abt 1845 Va
Alice Crenshaw age 52 b.abt. 1878 Va0 Nurse
I believe Catherine Pace was the wife of
Joseph W. Pace and the mother of Jesse W.Pace
Here they are on the 1860 Census in Fluvanna Co VA
Joseph W. Pace age 55
Catherine L. Pace age 45
Archer B.Pace age 13
Sarah J.Pace age 11
Jesse W. Pace age 7
Susan Pace age 5
Joseph L. Pace age 4
Albert W. Pace age 2
Jacob C. Pace age 2
Also have a Frances Bailey age 21,Female,white b .Va
living with a Lucy Pace age 42 F W b. Va
on the Fluvanna co.VA 1850 census
William H.Pace m. Sarah, dau of Jesse & Catherine
James L.Pace m. Lucy Pace
Both of the above were brother of my grandfather
JOhn Walker Pace b. 1843 in Fluvanna
and sons of John R.Pace b. 1809 and Elizabeth ? b. abt1815
can we connect these Paces and Baileys any futher?
