my grgrandfather was John Pace b. 1809 m. Eliz ? c. `1815
One of his sons Richard A.Pace m. Mary Susan Gregory
He and Mary Susan ( Mollie) had four children before he
was killed before 1900. Their names were:
Bessie Pace m Thomas Grover Failes
Nancy Pace m. Breeden, Wilkerson
Ruth Pace m E. Buck
Charles Pace
One of the descendents of Charles Pace was found to be
a descendent of John of Middlesex thru DNA

Bessie and Nancy were cousins of my mother Vera Pace
and used to say to her." We are Spencers"
Would you happen to know why they would say that.
There is no Spencer in my Pace background that I know of.
