Your information differs from mine. I have that Dorcas Pack was the daughter of Joseph and Louisa Pack of Packsville (now Paxville) SC. She was listed in his will. Dorcas Pack married Spyres Broom and moved to the Sumter / Marengo Co area of AL around 1830 along with her brothers William and Joseph Pack, Jr. In 1840 there was a lawsuit brought in Sumter AL court concerning inheritance.
Joseph Pack, Jr died in 1838, William Pack in 1841, and Dorcas around 1847. There pretty good information about the family on the Singleton Family site:
www.singletonfamily.org which includes a transcript of Joseph Pack, Sr's will.
