I question that death location. The Corbin Collection, in the Cemetery Transcriptions, 1803-1950, includes in the transcriptions from Plainfield, MA, West Hill Cemetery, stone no. 810:
"In memory of Mr. Eleazer Packard, who died Feb. 13 1803, in the 76th year of his age."
That yields a birth year of about 1727. I know of no Eleazer Packard whom that could be other than the son of Zaccheus and Mercy (Alden) Packard. It seems unlikely that Eleazer, whom Mitchell said "went westward," could have died in Quebec but have been buried in Plainfield.

I question this as well. Abisha Packard, son of Eleazer, was baptized 07-May-1761 in the Fourth Church of Bridgewater [Brockton VR 105].
