Source: Death Announcement, "The Cambridge News," in Cambridge, WI (Dane Co.) "Margarette Packard, 78 of W9107 Highway 12, Cambridge, died Monday, September 10, 1990 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Packard was born April 4, 1912 in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Gilbert and Bertha (Lippert) Ewell. She was a Cambridge area resident most of her life and was a dental technician for over 30 years. She married Charles Packard on August 28, 1929 and was a charter member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church, Cambridge. She is survived by her husband, Charles; one son, Robert (Gerry) Packard, Cambridge; one daughter, Geri Wong of Honolulu, Hawaii; and grandchildren, Kerry (Jayne) Wong, Kurt (Marie) Wong, Kyle Wong, Janet (Barry) Benson, Judy L. Packard, and Richard (Judy) Packard. She is further survived by five great-grandchildren. Services will be held today, Thursday, September 13, at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Ev. Lutheran Church with the Reverend John Ude officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. Friends called Wednesday evening from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge. If so desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Cambridge EMS."
