Patricia, Your Anna's ancestors might fit in with the Packards who moved from MA to NH. Are you sure she was born in NY and not NH? I looked at the Packards in the census records in Meigs Co., OHIO, and found a number of them: 1820 Census - Olive Twp., Meigs Co., OH ABSOLOM PACKARD, 45+ (born bef. 1776) 1850 Census - Olive Twp., Meigs Co., OH W. H. PACKARD, 40 (born abt. 1810) NH LUCRETIA PACKARD, listed with W. H., 63 (born abt. 1787) MA ORIGIN PACKARD, 39 (born abt. 1811) NH 1880 Census - Meigs Co., OH W. K. (H.?) PACKARD - 70 (1810) NH, both parents born MA ORIGENE PACKARD - 69? (1811?) NH, both parents born MA Perhaps your Anna was the daughter of Absolom, and Lucretia? You should research those Packards, if you haven't already. Absolom is found in the 1810 census in Onondaga Co., NY, as ABSALOM PACKARD. I did look at that one. If you need more help, just e-mail me. I don't know if Anna would fit into my Packards (children of Zachariah, 1764), but it is possible that W. H. and Origene (?) are her brothers and their father was born in MA and moved to NH. Let me look at the Packards would made that trip and get back with you later this weekend. Ashley Notify Administrator about this message?
